Love the book, very well read and easy to listen to, really well designed app.
Some bad moments
Of course, it would be hard to go wrong - it is CS Lewis, after all. But the functionality is great and you folks really organized it all extremely well! This is a very intuitive app, and Im thrilled to see youre adding more books by Lewis (any chance youll do the Space Trilogy?). Keep it up!
The book is fantastic and full of rich enjoyment. I really like the narrator too! The app is really nice because I can set it to read to me with a sleep timer, so it doesnt play all night. I really enjoy listening to this app through the stereo in my truck too. It is Bluetooth streaming capable. The only problem I have with it is there is no text. Sometimes I would really like to take notes and playing it over and over to get what he says can get annoying.. Otherwise it would have gotten five stars from me.
Ive been following Jesus most my life. As a boy I thought I was very special., at least to God. Then I grew up and my view became dimmed by the world I lived in. That all changed when I read about the nature of man—why did I not understand that men were selfish, though we did not think we really were. Or, that many Christians dont really know that their faith in God is weak.
Jack not only helped me to see this but helped me to understand it. The whole idea that there is no one perfect but God is very true, but what I did not see, and what I am learning now, is that the perfect one, Jesus, is at work in me making me perfect. It may take a lifetime but I am so thankful that he loves me and is determined to see it through. Read or listen to this book. Throw away your past thinking and keep your heart wide open. If you do Christ will begin to form himself in you.
